Ingredients
- 1 banana, cut in half
- 1 big strawberry or 2 small strawberries, cut
- milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Place cut banana in blender. Add strawberries. I like a heavy banana flavour but if you don’t, feel free to modify the strawberry-to-banana ratio.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla (optional, I often don’t include it).
- Add enough milk to cover half the banana. Sorry that this is a very unhelpful measurement. The amount of milk should be enough to create a liquid drink, but without overpowering the flavour of the fruits.
- Blend ingredients until smoothie texture is acquired.
- Add an ice cube, blend an ice cube (I’m afraid to hurt the blender, or myself) or refrigerate to chill.
This recipe also works as a banana-only milkshake, or you can experiment with your favourite fruits.
Serves 1-2 (Slowly increase ingredients to accommodate more people)
