Pasta salad recipe with Italian salad dressing

At long last, I have found a homemade pasta salad recipe that tastes great. You see, I love salads, side dishes and sauces—seemingly all things “s.” I find, however, that while I love pasta salad, it never tastes good when I make it at home (I’ve tried combining macaroni with mayo and sometimes vegetables). I can make a delicious potato salad, but find store-bought potato salad doesn’t taste good (and contains one of my most hated food items: pickles). I whipped together this pasta salad on a whim, and VOILA, it tastes amazing.

This pasta salad is sooo heavenly.


  • 1 cup whole grain macaroni (since the salad tastes amazing whole grain or white, might as well make it extra healthy!)
  • 1/2 tomato, cubed
  • 1/4 cucumber,  cubed
  • 1/2 green pepper, cubed
  • 1/2 red pepper, cubed
  • 1 tbsp Kraft extra virgin olive oil Tuscan Italian


  1. Add pasta to pot of boiling water and cook for the suggested length of time (see the pasta package for details).
  2. While the pasta is cooking, chop the tomato, cucumber, green pepper and red pepper.
  3. Mix cooked pasta with vegetables in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of the salad dressing. Now serve—it’s delicious!
